About the Creators of the Cue-Minder...
The Cue-Minder is a product of Motion Minder Technology, PLLC. It has been a collaborative effort of two Speech-Language Pathologists with many years of professional skill behind them.
Geri Ronk, MS CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has worked in a variety of settings from hospitals and outpatient care to SNF's and home health. She has been a Rehab Director for 7 years in a skilled nursing faciity in Durham, NC and currently works for UNC hospitals at UNC Home Health. She has won the prestigious UNC Plus Person Award as well as the DSC of the year. She is actively involved at UNC by being a member of the Performance Improvement Committee, chairing the UNC Home Health Co-Owners' Committee and also chairs the Timberlyne Building Safety Committee.
Brian Kanapkey, MA CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist with 15 years of experience and is a leader in the field. He is an adjunct faculty member in the UNC Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Chapel Hill, has presented at state speech conventions and seminars as well as national ENT conferences, and participated as investigator in cancer and swallowing research. He currently works full-time in the Head and Neck Cancer Clinic, part of UNC Healthcare in Chapel Hill, NC.
